STEERING COMMITTEE
The Steering Committee (SC) develops and sustains mutually beneficial partnerships to accomplish shared goals for clean water. Any organization or community member is welcome to attend SC meetings. The SC is comprised of participating members of the Saco Watershed Collaborative (SWC) that wish to be a part of the decision-making process as the Collaborative is founded on group consensus. Members of the SC are required to attend in person two out of three quarterly SC Meetings. Alternate members of the SC are encouraged to attend on behalf of their organization. Quarterly meetings are typically held in the spring, summer and fall.
SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE
The Sustainability Committee (SuC) ensures the long-term viability and financial sustainability of the Collaborative. The SuC meets in person quarterly, typically in the spring, summer and fall.
EDUCATION AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE
The Education and Outreach Committee (EOC) develops and compiles consistent messages, marketing and branding for the Saco Watershed and the Collaborative. EOC meetings are held in person and over conference call. Typically there is a combination of three meetings/calls during the year.
DATA AND ANALYSIS COMMITTEE
The Data and Analysis Committee (DAC) provides recommendations for maintaining an inventory of existing data sets (GIS, water quality, etc.) to properly inform the Collaborative’s Action Strategies and stakeholders. DAC meetings are held in person and over conference call. Typically there is a combination of three meetings/calls during the year.
